Palo santo, also known as "Holy Wood", is a wild tree native to South American countries. It's a fragrant tree that produces resin and can be used as incense or in incense blends. The wood has a slight citrus fragrance from limonene, and a sweet, woody scent from α-terpineol. It's collected from fallen branches, so no trees are destroyed.

Palo Santo is most commonly used for smoke cleansing. It has a purifying effect on the energy of a person or a space. Wonderful for use in meditation.
